Non-fungible token (NFT) is a unique + non-interchangeable digital asset stored on a blockchain, which can be associated with a specific item, both digital or physical. What makes these digital assets unique is their ability to be easily tracked, verified, traded + stored. However, NFTs are just a hyperlink on a blockchain that direct users to a media file on a server. Stem NFT recasts the concept of digital non-fungible tokens, bridging tangible + non-fungible. We are building a universe of meticulously designed + engineered collectibles. Each NFT will always be backed by a physical item. Each holder will be presented with a choice: keep a digital version on a wallet or burn it + claim the physical item. As the name hints, Stem NFT will act as a pluripotent cells’ hub, where each cell can transform into a unique, one-of-a-kind collection.
